Keeping healthy whilst pregnant

A healthy varied diet is really important, base it mainly on starchy foods and fruit and vegetables with a small amount of protein (from fish, eggs, beans, pulses, nuts or meat, but avoid liver) and dairy products or calcium fortified dairy free drinks and tofu if you're dairy free. Try to eat as many different foods as you can so that your baby can experience a wide variety of 'tastes' before they're born
