  • 1 Babease pouch of choice (130g)
  • 100ml of water
  • 100ml of water Ice lolly mould

METHOD

  • 1 In a bowl, mix together a Babease pouch of your choice with 100ml of water.
  • 2 Pour the mixture into your ice lolly mould and freeze for at least four hours.
  • 3 Once they’re ready, run some cold water across the moulds - this will make them easier to remove!

There are many ways you can adapt our teething ice lolly recipe, using different pouch flavours to keep baby exploring new flavours, or by adding in chopped up fruit and veggies for different texture experiences. You could also mix in Greek yoghurt for a creamier lolly consistency.

Older kids will love these lollies too, especially if you find some fun lolly mould shapes to create animal or flower-shaped lollies.

Are Ice Lollies Good for Teething?

Ice lollies are ideal for teething babies, as not only does the ice provide something for baby to get their newly growing teeth into, but the coolness adds some much needed soothing to sore gums.

Babies will love the feel of the cold ice against their gums and it can quickly offer relief for teething pain.

There are many things you can freeze in a lolly mould, such as our Babease pouches, fruit puree, yoghurt and even just water. Just remember not to give your little one anything with sugar in, such as a store-bought ice lolly, or freeze a sugary juice drink, as the sugars can be damaging to their emerging teeth.
