Babease Top Tips for Weaning

Weaning will usually start at around six months, but this can be different for every baby.

We recommend combining traditional, spoon-led weaning and baby-led weaning with finger foods - experiment to give your baby a range of foodie experiences!

Vegetables should be your baby’s first food - not only are they nutritious, but it also introduces them to savoury flavours early.

First Weaning Foods

Here at Babease, we’re huge fans of vegetables! Whether it’s greens, oranges, reds or purples, these bundles of goodness are perfect for growing foodies.

When weaning, you should look to include a wide variety of foods to ensure your little one gets all the nutrition they need alongside plenty of new tastes and textures. If you’re unsure where to start, these veggies are packed full of goodness!

  • Carrot
  • Broccoli
  • Sweet Potato
  • Peas (mashed or pureed)
  • Butternut Squash
