This simple recipe is a great choice for stage 2 weaning!

This is a fairly neutral but tasty dinner that lends itself really well to customisation. Why not add some of your little one’s favourite vegetables to create a veggie-packed super dish? Or you could make a colour-specific dish by adding only green vegetables like broccoli, courgettes or leeks, for example.

50g pasta shapes

1tbsp frozen peas

50g cream cheese

A dash of milk

A sprinkle of cheese

  1. Boil a pan of water and cook your pasta as per the packet instructions. Add the frozen peas three minutes before the pasta has finished cooking.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, melt the cream cheese in a separate pan. Add a dash of milk to this creamy sauce.
  3. Drain the pasta and peas before adding them to the sauce. Stir well and top with a bit of cheese when you’re ready to serve.
