This is a fairly neutral but tasty dinner that lends itself really well to customisation. Why not add some of your little one’s favourite vegetables to create a veggie-packed super dish? Or you could make a colour-specific dish by adding only green vegetables like broccoli, courgettes or leeks, for example.
50g pasta shapes
1tbsp frozen peas
50g cream cheese
A dash of milk
A sprinkle of cheese
- Boil a pan of water and cook your pasta as per the packet instructions. Add the frozen peas three minutes before the pasta has finished cooking.
- While the pasta is cooking, melt the cream cheese in a separate pan. Add a dash of milk to this creamy sauce.
- Drain the pasta and peas before adding them to the sauce. Stir well and top with a bit of cheese when you’re ready to serve.
